Personally, I have had a lot of experience with being overwhelmed by all I have to do around the house, but there are things you can do to make it feel less stressful, less like you are climbing a never-ending mountain.
Don't worry, you are not alone, and you are not a bad submissive/slave because you feel this way. The key here is to concentrate on ONE thing at a time. For me, I use my list to help with that. Such as "Make Bed", "Pick up the floor", "Sweep". These are all things that need to be done in the same room.
I look at my list and go, "Okay, what first? Make bed, I can do that." So I go make the bed, and I check that off my list. My mind has not even thought about anything else beyond making the bed. "Next step...Pick up things off the floor." Usually, I concentrate on one thing at a time on the floor, if the floor is especially dirty. First trash, then toys, then clothes etc, until it is clean.
This method can be the difference between success and failure for the day for the sensitive submissive.
Are you easily distracted? I get distracted by tech. Video games, and computers. I'm constantly checking my social networks. Facebook, FetLife, CollarMe etc. My advice, and what works best for me? Turn everything off. That's right I said it. Turn off your computer completely, turn off your console, your t.v. Music is okay, but everything else goes off. It will help you keep on the task at hand.
Never forget that your Master/Mistress is there for a reason. If you still feel stressed out or overwhelmed, talk to him/her. Let them know how you feel. Sometimes all you need is a hug, and an "Everything will be okay." Your Dominant is there to take care of your emotional well-being. Never be afraid to admit to your Dominant that you are having a difficult time.
Keep a positive attitude! Smiling helps you smile, listen to upbeat music, singing boosts your mood. Having something you love doing, waiting for you at the end of the day will help you achieve your goals. Don't be afraid to ask questions, and have fun!
