Sometimes I get questions that only require a short answer. Here are a few of the more recent ones.

What would you do if your dominant stopped recognizing and acknowledging you as a submissive person and instead encouraged you to be independent and self sufficient.

Being submissive does not mean you are not independent or self-sufficient. Perhaps he wants you to learn that lesson? Many submissives can take care of themselves when they need to and not be completely reliant on their Dominant. This is of course just a guess as I don't know your relationship well. You need to talk to them about how you feel and what you two can do about it.

What is the difference between slave and bottom?

Personal semantics. Everyone is going to have different definitions for the terms. In general and a broadly accepted definition is that a bottom only submits during playtime and still controls what will happen during play. A slave is someone who has consensually surrendered most or all of their control to someone else - and can include personal behaviors, dress, finances, work, free time, etc.

why is it important for a submissive to give their dominates their full attention?

Wow. It's important because if you aren't going to give someone your full attention why would you want to be with that person to begin with? I don't want to be someone's occasional partner. I want to be the apple in their eye.

I'm new to the Dom/ sub relationship my Dom wants me to get a black marker to mark territory? What does that mean?

It means he wants to write on you. It's a form of play, either humiliation or degradation mostly. Many Dominants like to write their name and naughty phrases on their partners body parts for playtime.
