lunaKM, this is an amazing post and I can feel your passion and pain pouring out from the words. Thank you for sharing this with us and I’m so sorry that people have been so negative to you towards your decisions and for the way you’ve been feeling. I know whatever content you create for the site that it’s the best you can do and to me, that’s what matters more than anything. Thank you for all the hard work and all the time you put into the site. I feel that this post is a wonderful reminder to all that nobody’s perfect.

Thank you for this insightful and refreshing post! While I’m sure many people had good intentions when they made comments like that, it’s unfortunate when people don’t take a moment to consider the impact of their words.

You have created an amazingly helpful resource for us and I can’t express enough gratitude for the work you do and for your unending dedication to the cause.

    Thank you so much!

(PS-No one is perfect…and-honestly-reading about a “perfect” slave or sub would be rather boring….) :-)

    Hi lunaKM,

I enjoyed your article very much. I think it’s a common theme that we all strive for perfection at least in some aspect of our lives. I just wanted to say, that speaking for myself, I don’t expect anyone to be perfect. Also, everyone’s idea of perfection is different, so perfect for me wouldn’t be perfect for you and vice versa.

I also am a firm believer in knowing when to use self-care and to refrain from pushing yourself beyond your ability to cope. So, I totally support your decision not to do Nanowrimo. I hope you know that you have a lot of supporters out here that really appreciate all that you do.

Anyway, cheers and hope you’re having a great day.

luna~ What sets us apart from the vanilla world is that we do not judge others. Those that will judge, advise and criticize… maybe are not seriously in this lifestyle after all?
